Position Summary

Responsible for performing inspections, investigations, calibrations, and repairs, in addition to proactively troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance of high end radiology imaging equipment. Assure preventive maintenance complies with current OEM specification to meet equipment safety and mandatory performance levels. Modality specific duties may apply.

A successful individual will have skills to use remote diagnostics, laptop-based test protocols, power tools, measuring devices, knowledge of manufacturers’ service documentation, troubleshooting techniques, and preventative-maintenance procedures. Consult with medical or research staff to ascertain that equipment function properly and safely, utilizing knowledge of electronics, medical terminology, human anatomy, and physics. May demonstrate and explain correct operation of medical personnel.

Position Requirements

  • Associates degree and/or requisite industry experience
  • At least 5 years imaging experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels within healthcare setting

Position Summary

Frontier Imaging Services is a growth organization, which means our teams and operations infrastructure is constantly evolving to sustain and further the success of the operation.  As a Customer Service Specialist, you will answer incoming customer service requests, dispatch the field service engineers, and coordinate the activities of the service delivery process.  Your job will be customer facing and field focused working directly with customers, the field, suppliers, and the internal leadership team.  Additionally, the position performs a variety of general office activities necessary for running the service delivery process smoothly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Effectively coordinates and schedules field technical service activities and resources to ensure customer expectations and commitments are met while delivering high quality service.

  • Maintains central service calendar to include daily field engineer job assignments, PTO tracking.
  • Performs customer callback and follow-up.
  • Leads all parts ordering, logistics, tracking, and follow-up. 

Provide support, information, prioritization and coordination of assignments for field service personal for emergency service dispatch and national account call handling. Serves as the main point of contact for all service customers to ensure expectations are being met.

  • Receive customer calls via Frontier Imaging Services dispatch hotline and assure each customer request is fulfilled as quickly as possible. 

Ensure all service requests and dispatches are well documented, coordinated, prioritized, and organized for review or follow up action whenever necessary.  Assists field engineers in

  • service call documentation
  • parts ordering, receiving, RMA tracking, and return logistics
  • field engineer travel as needed
  • timely and thorough field service report processing and completion  
  • timely service call closure for customer invoicing
  • PM scheduling and on-time completion
  • coordinating field engineer training

Uploads inventory into Frontier Imaging Services FixedIt central maintenance management system upon start of customer agreement.  Assures customer database integrity.

Establishes and updates FixedIt with all customer contract changes (inventory adds/deletes).

 

Performs other clerical services as needed.

Position Requirements

  • Associates degree and/or related experience
  • 3-5 years’ experience in customer service call handling, dispatching and service response in a related or technical industry required.
  • Strong customer satisfaction and service focus, with good organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, PC and business software systems, telephone call handling, and ability to work during times of high call processing activity and time constraint demands.
